THE TRANSIT is a psychological supernatural thriller written by Emmanuel Israel, following four travelers who begin questioning the strange transit world they have come to call home. Oliver Mann served as Creative Director, Visual Director, and AI Filmmaker, leading a creative team to translate the story into a cinematic fundraising trailer designed to give the future feature a tangible visual identity before production. Working with a team of AI artists and visual collaborators, Oliver Mann developed the visual world around Eden International Airport, a believable contemporary American airport where reality gradually begins to feel uncertain. Using AI filmmaking tools alongside traditional cinematic principles of composition, lighting, camera language, editing, and sound, we created the environments, characters, aircraft sequences, and escalating tension that carry the audience from quiet mystery into impending disaster. The result is a cinematic proof of concept designed to bring the writer’s vision to life and support the film’s future crowdfunding campaign.
